Purchasing FAQ’s


  • You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a long gun.
  • All federal, state, local laws apply to the purchase of all firearms.
  • You will need to locate a local FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer to have your firearm shipped to.
  • Contact your local FFL dealer so you know what laws apply to you in order to pick up your firearm once it has been shipped.

Retail Customers:

If you are a retail customer and you are purchasing a firearm, it will be shipped to your local FFL dealer. Prior to shipping of any firearms from this site, HDSA requires a copy of the FFL (Federal Firearm License) from your local FFL dealer. Please have your local FFL dealer email – sales@hdarmsusa.com, or fax – 661-265-8706, a copy of their FFL to HDSA. If you are in California, your FFL dealer must submit their CL number to HDSA along with their FFL. Firearms cannot be shipped without the FFL on file at HDSA. Before you proceed with checkout, please input the contact information (Dealer Name, Address, Phone number, and a contact if available) for your FFL dealer in the comments. This will ease the process in case we have questions for your local FFL dealer.


All firearms and other products will be shipped via FedEx ground services. Should you wish to expedite shipping, Fed Ex standard overnight is an option we offer.

Please allow 2-3 business days to complete your order once the FFL paperwork is received. A completed order consists of – cleared payment and local FFL paper work (with CL# from local dealer if in California). If your order is delayed beyond 3 days for any reason, you will be notified by HDSA.           


You will receive an email when your product ships along with a FedEx tracking number. Be reminded that your firearm will ship to your local FFL dealer. All other merchandise will be fulfilled separately and ship directly to the address you have given us.

Local Pickup:

If you are a neighbor of ours at HDSA and you wish to pick up your firearm at the shop, please choose local pick-up during the checkout process. There will be no shipping charges. All California and Federal laws apply upon pickup. California DROS (Dealer Record of Sale) will be applied at pickup.


All returns/refunds/exchanges must be made within 30 days of the invoice date. Please take the time to inspect your item within 30 Days of the invoice date. returns made after 30 days will be refused.

For all returns/refunds/exchanges – please contact Customer Service at info@hdarmsusa.com explaining the problem and your requirements in as much detail as possible. Include the model name and serial number of your firearm.

You will receive shipping information and an RMA form from customer service once it is deemed covered under warranty/ serviceable.

When sending products for repair the contents of the package must be adequately secure to protect from damage that may occur during the shipping process. HDSA Firearms is not responsible for damage of a product caused by shipping.

NOTE: Various Federal and State laws and local ordinances govern the transfer and transportation of firearms. Take the advice of the Dealer in your state on how to send your firearm before shipping.


Refunds will be issued back to the original credit card used for payment. Please provide the receipt number in order for us to process the return. Credit card refunds will be subject to a 3% return fee. PLEASE NOTE: If HDSA deems that the return was made without reasonable cause, that our product meets the advertised condition, the refund will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Any fees paid to the local FFL dealer to pick up the firearm will not be refunded by HDSA for any reason, with no exceptions. These transactions are at the full risk and expense of the customer.


All shipping fees for an exchange will be paid by the customer.
